Course 2 – Let’s Learn BSL: Exploring More Signs This course is designed for children who want to explore more British Sign Language signs and build on the basic signs learned in Course 1. The lessons focus on simple, everyday signs that children can use at home, at school, and with friends. Family & Handshapes Learn about the different handshapes used in BSL and how to sign the members of our families. Emotions Learn how to sign a range of emotions, helping you share how you feel at home and at school. Food & Drink Explore signs for many different foods and drinks you might enjoy every day. Asking Questions Explore how to sign basic question words, like who, what, where, when, how, and why. This lesson also introduces some simple BSL sentence structure. Conversational Practice Practice asking and responding to simple questions, for example: What is your name?, Where are you from?, How old are you? You will also learn how to sign the responses: My name is…, I live in…, I am … years old.
